Important Message On Behalf of Alan King
Sadly the day has come where I have decided to retire and therefore from today, Sunday 27th July 2025, Acts will no longer exist.
After 30 years I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has ever supported Acts, you have truly helped to keep mine and Val's vision alive.
A special thankyou to the many past and present members of Acts Theatre School. You have all played such an important role in our lives. You have showed amazing talent, kindness and friendship and I hope that the memories you made will stay with you forever.
Over the years there has been an army of volunteers who have helped to keep Acts going. I will be forever grateful to each and every one of you. I will never be able to give you enough thanks.
Finally a huge amount of thanks must rightly go to YOU, the public. Without your support and love Acts wouldn't have been able to give you the opportunity to see what an amazing bunch of talented children we have, whether that was in the beginning where we only had about 20 members or when we have swelled to 100 or more. Your support, your kindness in sharing your love of any of our shows and showing your appreciation is something that will always stay with me.
I hope that you will keep Acts in your hearts and treasure all the memories made.
