Hollie Childe Shropshire based Watercolour Animal Artist inspired the British countryside 🌿🌸 I am a young artist from Shropshire.

Since graduating university with a First Class degree, I have been working extensively to create paintings of British farm animals, wildlife and unique pet portraits. My inspiration comes from my upbringing in the Shropshire countryside. In my work, I pride myself on always aiming to create bold and lively representations of the many lovely animals I have the pleasure of working on.

This weekend we had the absolute joy of watching our most wonderful and oldest friends get married in the most beautiful place! 🌼🌸 it was truly beautiful and such a magical weekend! Creating all the stationery for the day will be forever one of my favourite projects and such a honour to do! 🥹

Our little family is starting a new adventure 🌸👣
As lots of you will have seen my big belly yesterday and I have plans for the rest of the summer to tell you all.. I wanted to tell you all that our little family has a new member on their way! 🌼 I will update you in future posts about what this means for summer shows, commissions soon! 💕 right now I’m very much planning to spend lots of time in the paddling pool to survive the heat with a big belly, a toddler and a springer spaniel 😂

I’m looking forward to my first country show of the year at The Shropshire county show this Saturday 23rd May! 🌼🌿 the sun is going to make a lovely appearance for us too! I’ll have lots of original artworks, framed artworks, prints and much more including some chances for some bargains! I’m planning to take a long a little sale section which will include some originals too!

We headed out the Ludlow market today, everybody came along for the ride to help out! Joe took Thomas and pippin off for a nice walk and lunch and then they came back to help (more cause mischief!) 😂💕 it was lovely to see some lovely Ludlow regulars (including some four legged ones!). Hope you’re all having a lovely bank holiday weekend! I just wanted to let you know where you will be able to find me back out and about behind my stall! I’ll be going to ludlow market for the spring festival weekend on Sunday 10th May and to the Shropshire county show on Saturday 23rd 💕 hope to see some of you there!
