Bring along some compost or soil in a tupperware to the festival and get a free health check from Soil Ecology Lab! Homemade compost should be full of microorganisms, but if you wanted to bring some soil please dig down around some roots at least 6 inches until you find some precious moisture!! We can also chat about improving peat free compost, because I know a lot of you have issues with it (other growing and soil questions welcome).
