Please take a look at my business page. All sorts of engagement makes a BIG difference to a freelancer like me, we all know times are hard, but a little support goes a long way, be it sales or good old motivation! I sell my work, I run classes and workshops, I can help curate exhibitions and do one to one tuition in my home studio and I have experience tutoring A level students. Wellbeing is high on the agenda right know, doing something creative and mindful really helps, as does supporting an independent trader. Diolch 🙏

Congratulations to Artist Claire Hiett Art whose work has been incorporated into the online Collecting Covid stories at the Public History and Archaeology Department at Sain Ffagan: Amgueddfa Werin Cymru - St Fagans National Museum of History

The portrait of ICU Nurse Geraint Humphrey was painted as part of our Who is Bridgend? Pwy yw Penybont? Project , funded by Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru | Arts Council of Wales
and run by Bridgend Town Council and Carnegie House

As part of this project, Artist and Project Leader Claire Hiett received nominations to create portraits of local heroes in the community. One such hero was Geraint Humphrey who works at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend. Geraint not only worked tirelessly throughout the lockdown but he also had to postpone his wedding due to Covid; he was the perfect candidate to be celebrated as part of the project, which ran during the height of lockdown.

Claire is pictured presenting the portrait to Mark Etheridge, Curator of Collecting Covid.

We are all extremely proud of you Claire, well done!
