💚 Volunteers’ Week: Celebrating the Amazing Team at Hopefield 💚

Today, some of our team at KGPF spent the day volunteering at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary as part of Volunteers’ Week, supporting the incredible work they do every single day.

Cold, wet and muddy, we only got a small taste of what their amazing volunteers do day in, day out to care for the animals and keep the sanctuary running.

We’re also proud to have raised over £400 through our mud run fundraiser to help support this fantastic cause.

As a small thank you for everything they do, we’ve invited the Hopefield volunteer team to enjoy a team-building session at Ninja TAG on us!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers at Hopefield and everywhere else this Volunteers’ Week. Your dedication, compassion and hard work make a real difference every single day. 💚🐾

🌟 Sign of the Month! 🌟

As part of our commitment to making our centres as inclusive and welcoming as possible, our team have been learning to use Makaton. This is a unique language programme that uses signs, symbols and speech to help people communicate. Many of our amazing members and visitors use Makaton, and we’re proud to support and learn alongside them. 🧏‍♂️🧏‍♀️

Each month, we’ll be sharing a new Makaton sign with you, and we’d love for you to join in! 💙

✨ NEW Therapist led Toddler Workshops at Everyone Active, King George’s Playing Field, Brentwood ✨

We’re excited to be hosting Little Language & Sensory Co. — fun, therapist-led workshops designed to support toddlers aged 1–3.5 years through play, movement and sensory exploration 💚

These engaging sessions are led by an experienced Speech & Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist team, helping little ones build communication, confidence, social skills and sensory development in a supportive environment 🌈

Such a great team bonding night for Team KGPF! 💪🧡

Lots of laughs, plenty of screams, and a lot of mud as the team took on the Nuclear Mud Course together! Thank you to everyone who got involved and represented KGPF so brilliantly. It was fantastic to see everyone supporting each other and having so much fun.

A brilliant evening with an even better team! 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💦
