Today marks the end of ’s residency at .art; it was a pleasure having you and we wish you the best on your travels.
Here is what she had to say about here time as a visiting artist….
“I feel very lucky for landing at The Loft for a Two Month Residencey where I could take a breather from all things Covid and integrate my 6 month travel journey around the globe.
The space itself is a magical place to create- open, light, inspiring- and mark has created a supportive community, which I’m very proud to say I’m now a part of. Additionally, I appreciated the work involved for the well-thought-out open studio weekends and our final show, Multiple Personalities, exhibiting the work created within the residency. Both wonderful opportunities to engage with the community and as an artist, see how people respond to the work. Personally, I went in some new directions that surprised me and apparently delighted others.
The beauty of being open to explore.
The Loft is a very special place and I would encourage artists to nab their spot to create within the walls if this hidden gem in the artistically booming and eclectic Brentford Neighborhood”

Today 🎉🎉 The Lôft presents a new exhibition of work by resident artist and visiting artist from Austin, TX, both exploring the human condition through Bold, colourful abstract portrait examining the psychology of individual personalities. “MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES" DOORS OPEN UNTIL 5pm

Visitors will also be invited to create their own psychological portrait using images and words which will be displayed during the exhibition.
