FAME THE MUSICAL charts the journey of a class of young artists from enrolment to graduation. As they study, strive, stumble and soar, they come-of-age through their shared passion for music, drama and dance — learning that the journey is just as powerful as the fame they chase. ✨

⭐️ Panto is returning to The DRAMA Dept

Thats right, its not a huge announcement as our Panto for the 26/27 season is already on sale. But we are so excited to be bringing this hilarious festive treat written by the talented Barry Crossley Pantomimes to Harpers Theatre Café in December 2026.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are so proud of our award winning pantomimes, which are always a huge success. This is down to the intimate, fun setting our audiences experience. We would love to welcome you back for more…

This year’s panto madness will be on stage over two weekends with matinee and evening performances.

🩵 Matilda The Musical Jr is back in Nov 26 🩵

It’s time to get revolting at The DRAMA Dept, but be quick… Auditions for this youth production - the first of our 26/27 season take place next week: Saturday 12th September 2026.

🎭 It’s an open casting call, so we welcome young talent (6-18) to come and join us. To register for auditions, please complete the below form.

🤩 we performed Matilda The Musical Jr back in 2022 and we loved it that much, we just have to do it again. Many of our CAST22 are now studying / graduating at musical theatre colleges around the UK. Time flies 💨
