🎙️ Tune into the Cumbriana Show on CRFM this Tuesday at 9PM as I welcome one of my favourite guests back to the show – Poppy Rowan!

Poppy is one of the driving forces behind the upcoming Wild on the Wall Family Music Festival and wears many hats within the local music scene. Alongside helping organise the festival, she also oversees events at the popular The Source Collective and fronts the rock/pop-punk band RedHanded Siren.

This special edition of the Cumbriana Show will feature a selection of music from the fantastic acts performing at Wild on the Wall Festival, taking place on 28th, 29th and 30th August. With the vast majority of the line-up made up of Cumbrian artists, the festival continues to be a huge supporter of local talent and the grassroots music scene.

You'll also hear an opening track from RedHanded Siren, setting the tone for an evening packed with great local music and festival chat.

We are looking for bar staff to work from 27th-31st August, 2026!

✨INTRODUCING.... Porcelain ✨

Porcelain are a modern shoegaze band drawing inspiration from Smashing Pumpkins, Cocteau twins and The Cure. Combining intricate chord progressions with dreamy melodies, Porcelain endeavour to create atmospheric sound with grungy overtones. So far porcelain have played nothing but packed crowds in both Leeds and Carlisle supports bands such as Hitlist at their Human cereal EP release gig and Twinsize at Oporto in Leeds as well as supporting one of Carlisles biggest bands Antics at their single release gig.

That's why we keep things simple: your ticket includes everything you need to enjoy the weekend. Showers, car parking, and campervan entry are all included in the ticket price, so there are no hidden costs, unexpected add-ons, or nasty surprises.

This year, as well as offering free entry for under-12s, we've donated tickets to local non-profit organisations and to young people who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to attend. We believe everyone should have the chance to enjoy live music, connect with their community, and be part of something special.
