ART-icipate

ART-icipate ART-icipate is a six week Summer Arts Festival from 6 June – 18 July 2015 being organised by Braintree District Arts.

As a voluntary organisation we are working with a range of fifteen other Braintree organisations to produce not only their own events but publicise the many other artistic opportunities in the area. The festival will start with the Braintree Open Arts Exhibition and continue through with an art materials sale, open studios to visit and events to attend. Another of the prime events will be an eight

day Summer School based at the College at Braintree, a campus of Colchester Institute. We are going to be able to access the great premises and resources available at the College, to support a vast range of classes. Ranging across the entire arts spectrum - fine art, music, performance, history, textiles, architecture, and the environment – there will also be a strong sprinkle of applied science and technology. Bookings will have to be on-line to help us with administration, although you can go to lots of places to sign up in person.
