Please join us in welcoming Ashley Stone to the cast of Aladdin as she makes his Atlas Events & Production pantomime debut in the fabulous role of Widow Twankey! 💜🧺

Ashley is joining the pantomime family for the very first time, and we can't wait for audiences to meet his unique take on everyone's favourite larger-than-life laundry owner. Expect plenty of laughs, outrageous costumes, quick wit and more than a little chaos as Widow Twankey takes over the laundry this Christmas!

We're delighted to have Ashley on board and know he's going to bring fantastic energy, humour and plenty of sparkle to this iconic pantomime role.

✨ What a fantastic turnout for our Dance Ensemble auditions yesterday! ✨

We were absolutely blown away by the number of talented young dancers who came along to audition. The energy, enthusiasm and passion in the room was incredible from start to finish – what a day! 💃🕺🌟

It was such a pleasure to meet so many amazing young performers, all giving it their very best. We are so proud of every single person who stepped through the door and had the confidence to audition. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! ❤️

A huge well done to everyone who came along, and an extra congratulations to all of our successful applicants – we can’t wait to get started and see what this exciting Christmas has in store! 🎭✨

We're delighted to welcome Aaron Carpenter to the Braintree Pantomime family as he makes his debut with us this Christmas, taking on the role of the lovable Wishee Washee. 🧞✨

Aaron brings fantastic energy, charisma and a natural flair for comedy, making him the perfect choice to play Aladdin's quick-witted and mischievous brother. Packed with laughs, audience interaction and plenty of unforgettable moments, Wishee Washee is one of pantomime's most beloved characters—and we can't wait for you to see Aaron make the role his own.

Joining the cast for the first time, Aaron is already proving to be a brilliant addition to the company, and we're excited for Braintree audiences to welcome him to the stage this festive season.

We're absolutely delighted to announce that Amelia Stevens will be returning to the Braintree Pantomime stage for a second consecutive year, this time taking on the role of the beautiful Princess Jasmine!

Amelia brought warmth, charm and plenty of heart to the role of Jill last year with her wonderful stage presence and natural talent. We're thrilled to be welcoming her back for another magical festive adventure.

This year, Amelia steps into the iconic role of Princess Jasmine – a strong, kind-hearted princess who dreams of a life beyond the palace walls. With soaring songs, magical moments and a touch of romance, we know she'll bring this beloved character to life in spectacular style.

We're absolutely delighted to announce that Dan Snelgrove will be joining the Braintree Pantomime family for the very first time as the wicked and mysterious Abanazar 🧞‍♂️✨

Dan is an experienced performer with a fantastic stage presence, incredible comic timing and a wealth of professional theatre experience. This Christmas, he'll be bringing plenty of mischief, magic and mayhem to the stage as Aladdin's scheming enemy, determined to get his hands on the magic lamp at any cost!

As a new face to our pantomime, we can't wait for Braintree audiences to meet Dan and see his take on one of pantomime's most iconic villains. Will he succeed in his evil plans... or will good triumph in the end? You'll have to join us this December to find out! 👀

We're thrilled to announce that casting is now underway for this year's spectacular pantomime, *Aladdin*, at The Institute, Braintree!

Following the incredible success of last year's production, we're assembling another fantastic company of talented performers to bring this magical adventure to life this Christmas.

We're currently seeking an exceptional performer to take on the role of Wishee Washee — Aladdin's lovable brother and one of pantomime's most popular comedy characters.

We're looking for a performer with outstanding comic timing, excellent audience interaction skills, strong improvisation ability, and the charisma to keep audiences entertained throughout the show.

We're absolutely delighted to announce that Ruby Fitzmaurice will be returning to the pantomime stage for a second year in a row as the enchanting Spirit of the Ring in Aladdin! 🧞‍♂️💫

Many of you will remember Ruby from last year's production of Jack and the Beanstalk, where she charmed audiences across Braintree as the magical Fairy Full of Beans. Her warmth, energy and fantastic stage presence made her a firm favourite with audiences of all ages, and we're thrilled to be welcoming her back for another festive adventure.

This year, Ruby takes on the mystical role of the Spirit of the Ring, guiding Aladdin on his journey and bringing even more magic, wonder and sparkle to the stage.
