Another lovely Shaping Our Story wellbeing session at the Sutton Centre 🎨

Today, we continued working on our mini acrylic canvases, adding more colour, layers and little details. The paintings are gradually taking shape, and it’s lovely to see how each one develops through the creative process.
There’s no need to rush, just time to paint, chat and enjoy creating together.

There are quiet waters hidden deep within Whispering Woods, where the trees grow right to the water’s edge and the surface is almost always still. But beneath it, things are not quite so quiet. Every now and then, a flash of colour, a shimmer of scales or a trail of bubbles gives away one of its best-kept secrets. Look quickly though… mermaids are very good at disappearing. 🧜‍♀️✨

As evening falls over Whispering Woods, tiny winged creatures begin to appear between the flowers and tall grass. Some rest quietly beneath the leaves, while others flutter from place to place, their wings catching the last of the light. Most disappear before anyone gets close enough to see them properly. But every now and then, if you happen to be looking in just the right place, one might stay long enough to be seen. ✨🧚

There are tiny paths through Whispering Woods that most people would never notice. They wind between blades of grass, beneath leaves and around the stems of wildflowers. Every now and then, a tiny figure can be seen following one of them, disappearing beneath petals that tower above her head. Where these little paths lead, no one really knows. Perhaps they were never meant for us to follow. ✨🌿

A lovely creative moment from Monday’s Shaping Our Story wellbeing session at the Sutton Centre 🎨✨

During our second mini acrylic painting session, we continued creating a magical little door, exploring colour, texture, imagination and storytelling along the way. It was a gentle and relaxing afternoon, with time to paint, chat and enjoy a little treat together.
We can’t wait to see the finished creation!

Deep inside a forgotten garden was a tiny pond where the koi carried wishes beneath the water and two white swans guarded them from above.
It was said that if a wish was kind enough, the swans would find it before sunset and carry it quietly into the sky.

A little more magic is taking shape… ✨ These are our new, slightly larger hand-painted magnets, each one slowly becoming its own tiny magical door into another world. I’m currently finishing a collection of 20 unique doors, each painted by hand and with its own little personality. 🍄🌿✨ Very soon, the full collection will be ready and available to buy.
