Means To An End MEANS TO AN END... Fest is a Hardcore Punk D.I.Y. Festival that occurs annually at the 1in12 Club in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK.

It was first established in 2005. The idea of MTAE was to bring and share mainland European ideas about putting on gigs, being active in social spaces, and political awareness to the UK punk scene and hoping that we could make the world a little bit smaller, more cooperative and to increase our network of friends. The Fest took place at the 1in12 Club because of its anarchist philosophies and ideas and its collective spirit.

Unfortunately, INFLICTER can no longer play. NU (Leeds/York) have kindly stepped into the breach, and will be opening the Fest on Friday 18th October at The 1 in 12 Club Bradford

We try to keep the prices as low as we can whilst still being able to pay the bands their expenses. Everything we do is DIY and done not for profit, only to raise funds for The 1 in 12 Club Bradford and to help keep, and maintain, live independent music spaces for us to all enjoy.

For anyone who cannot afford either, or both, days, please contact us.

Band Drop ~2 for MEANS TO AN END... DIY Hardcore Punk Fest Day 1 at the 1 in 12 Club, Bradford, UK, on Friday 20th October 2023! The wonderful NAPE NECK, from Leeds. Mixing influences, imo, of Leeds & French legends HEADACHE with Netherlands THE EX, NAPE NECK are one of the most interesting & unique bands around over the past few years. Hard edged rhythmns with searing guitar. So good live!
