🪓❤️ If you loved him last Christmas, you're in for a treat...
We're delighted to announce that ✨ David Rimmer ✨ is returning to Bradford Playhouse as the Tin Man in this year's magical family pantomime, The Wizard of Oz.
Back by popular demand, David wowed audiences last Christmas as the dashing Dandini in Cinderella. His charm, fantastic stage presence and brilliant performances made him a firm favourite with our audiences, so we couldn't wait to welcome him back.
This year, he'll be swapping royal robes for a suit of tin as he sets off down the Yellow Brick Road in search of a heart. With David in the role, we know it's going to be a performance full of warmth, laughs and plenty of panto magic.

Bradford Playhouse has a long history of performance and public gatherings, from the early days of the Independent Labour Party, to the inception of the Bradford Civic Playhouse by Winifred Priestley and her slightly more famous brother, JB, to the installation of Hibberts famous moving pictures. We’ve always been a community focussed theatre, largely propelled by the enthusiasm and energy of a host of volunteers.
Join us at this years Heritage Open Day to find out more about the people behind the Playhouse.
We’re open 10am-4pm, with archive materials to look through, Playhouse folk to chat with and the return of the Lucky Duck Lolly Pull. Theatre Dog Alfie will be on hand to meet and greet his adoring public and Colin will be leading several tours, covering the history of the Playhouse and delving into our seldom-seen backstage areas.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Frank L. Baum was published in 1900 and it’s been a children’s classic ever since, treasured by generations of kids – and their parents.
Northern Duck Productions are bringing the story to life in their brand-new pantomime this winter at Bradford Playhouse. Get ready to join Dorothy and Toto as they meet a whole bunch of new friends on their journey along the yellow brick road.
