The Art Rooms showcases the beautiful work of designer Jacky Al-Samarraie. Jacky made a dramatic career change in 2008 after working in social services for many years. She retrained in graphic art in order to pursue her creative skills and found that her range of landscapes were an instant hit. Now Jacky's work is sold by major players such as John Lewis and Heathrow Airport, as well as through a

network of independent retailers. Her complete range is available through her own e-commerce website, The Art Rooms and includes greeting cards, bone china mugs, melamine tableware, screen prints, notebooks, and postcards.

I’ve been adding new print designs to our website. I created them quite a while ago but they’ve been sitting in a folder waiting for me to do something with them!! Usually story of good intentions and day to day stuff takes over. Although the Landscapes are my signature, I do like to have a go at new things. I’m hoping this year will allow me to ‘mess about’ in my studio more than I have been doing and get back into printmaking again before I forget how to do it 😊! Let’s see🤔!

We are set up and ready to welcome visitors to our studio sale on Friday and Saturday this week.
10.30 - 3.30pm.
Lots of offers, especially greeting cards all £1.00 just for the weekend. Come along and stock up your card drawer!

Find us at Lister Court, Lister Mill at the top of Beamsley Road! Car park is on the right. The barrier will lift as you approach. The entrance is in the far right corner. No 7B if you need to ring the bell.

I want to say a massive thank you to all who came to our open days, I really value and appreciate your continued support ❤️.

Finally got round to letting everyone know we’ve moved 😲🤣!!
Staying with the Mill theme we have moved to another of Yorkshire’s historical mills Lister’s Mill, famous in its day for its beautiful silk and velvet fabrics and its iconic chimney.
This is our 5th mill and hopefully our last !!
This year we are combining our studio open days with our Christmas shopping weekend and we’d love to show you the new studio.
The dates are Friday 15th and Saturday 16th November from 10.30-4.00pm.
Please feel free to share the post with anyone you feel may like to come.
Our new address is: 7B Lister Court, Lister’s Mill,
Beamsley Road. Bradford BD9 4SQ.
There’s plenty of parking in the courtyard. The barrier will lift as you drive up to it.
