Rebel Cat Collective

Rebel Cat Collective We are a not for profit group who plan to promote events such as Punk gigs and bookfairs in Bradford and Leeds West Yorkshire.

We have also started to publish booklets and CDs. We are a not for profit group who plan to promote events such as Punk gigs and bookfairs in Bradford and Leeds, West Yorkshire. Its all about DIY/DIT (Do It Yourself/Do It together), and we welcome contributions and projects from like minded people. We have put the gigs on hold for various reasons and have so far produced a poetry booklet (in conju

nction with the ACG), a Antifa compilation ska CD and are in the process of making further booklets and CDs. We try to make sure no band is out of pocket and pay travel expenses where we can but cannot pay lots of money out. We put on any punk/ska/folk anarcho type bands and try to promote new bands as well as established/old bands. Support your local scene and come down to one of our gigs!

The Rebel Cat Story

We a not for profit, grassroots, DIY/DIT (Do It Together) promoter who put on benefit gigs to raise money for various charities, protest gigs and as our slogan suggests we put on gigs to raise awareness for social issues and demand a change. We put on gigs in West Yorkshire at the 1 in 12 club in Bradford, in Nottingham at the Sumac Centre, Manchester and Stockport via Horn and Hoof records, Oldham at Jacksons Pit, and other venues around the North where we can. We are also hoping to be involved in a re launch of the Rogues Picnic festival :). We try to make sure no band is out of pocket and pay travel expenses where we can but cannot pay lots of money out. We put on any punk/ska/folk anarcho type bands although we will consider any band, any genre that fits in with our ethos of anti fascist anarchist/left wing and try to promote new bands as well as established/old bands.

We do it for the love of the music and the scene and are often out of pocket, but when we do occasionally make some money this is split between Rebel Cat (in order to put more gigs on) and causes we support.

We will be having collections at gigs for independent social clubs, and groups/organisations we support as well as providing leaflets/pamphlets and papers.

We have supported foodbanks, homeless charities, anti fascist causes as well as Punks for the Homeless.
