🍫🌂🔍🕵️ an exciting night last night… we found the 5 golden tickets and successfully completed our 5 W***y Wonka challenges with the kids group. Juniors focused on physical and vocal skills to help build characters and then began working on their audition pieces. Followed by our seniors who become creatives selecting the sections of their piece so we can get ready to devise these scenes next week…. Looking forward to having our Music Director join us next week 🎶🎵🎶

Happy New Year… yes I know we are quiet in the world of social media (new years resolution is to share more of the wonderful work we do on a regular basis) However there is a reason and that is because we have been super busy...

We have done some fab stuff during 2025 and look forward to a busy 2026- with some exciting new opportunities coming Purple Leaf Performing Arts way.

Here is a little glimpse of some of the things we have done during 2025 🌟

✅we performed “When I Grow up” a piece inspired by Roald Dahl’s Matilda at Halifax Playhouse.
✅we successfully completed LAMDA examinations from entry level all the way up to Gold.
✅We completed a Performance sharing to celebrate the fantastic work the students have been working on.
✅we went on a family trip to Leeds Playhouse to watch A Christmas Carol, which was a great way to Celebrate our hardwork and get into the festive spirit 🎄🧑‍🎄🧑‍🎄❄️☃️

📣📣📣Firstly happy New Year from Purple Leaf 🤩It has certainly been an interesting start to the year with crazy amounts of snow causing chaos across the Queensbury land… We are very pleased that Purple Leaf will be back tomorrow at our usual times…
KIDS 5:30pm-6:30pm
JUNIORS 6:30pm- 7:30pm
SENIORS 7:30pm- 8:30pm
We look forward to starting work on our next show- An adaptation of a Roald Dahl’s classic, Matilda. We can not wait to get started.

Just a bit excited for this years Christmas show…Purple Leaf will be performing to the local community in an immersive theatre performance that transports everyone on a journey to the North Pole.
