Freshly Baked Commission #4 - the fabulous from Symoné performed at Start Thurrock programme at Tilbury Picnic in the Park on Thursday!

A Place Between Mass & Echoes is a 20 minute outdoor show combining rollerskating, circus, and dance. The piece is a love letter to skate communities and the spaces we gather in, exploring what’s left behind as spaces disappear and the vitality of social dance communities everywhere.

This show has been redeveloped for a verity of outdoor spaces, and community contexts. It’s been a joy to watch them develop the show. They now have 2 versions that can be booked by contacting

Freshly Baked Commission #3 - the amazing by and performed at Big Lunch on Tuesday!

Hype Sister is a pink pop 90s nostalgia outdoor acrobatic show about friendship, envy, and the beauty of difference. Two friends. One spectacular fashion statement. A falling-out, a repair, and a reunion told through wheelchair-based acrobatics.

This show has been created for outdoor spaces, and is full of skill, energy and vibes! We have loved watching these amazing acrobats make it! Watch this space! 👀

What an inspiring month! ✨

Thank you Market of Contemporary Circus, .creatives Circus in Motion & for having us!

Each programme felt exciting in a completely different way. Each festival connected to its place and community.

We made some brilliant new connections, listened to thought-provoking panels, had generous conversations with artists and producers, and came away feeling inspired, energised and full of ideas for what comes next. 💛

Don’t drop me is a family-friendly, high-stakes circus theatre show, where 3 women tie themselves in knots navigating their relationships, challenging their self doubts and testing their limits on and off the trapeze.

This show has been adapted for outdoor spaces and it’s been amazing to watch these incredible women develop it. Watch this space! 👀

Freshly Baked Commission #1 - the fabulous performed her new show Edges at Big Lunch yesterday!

Edges is a Chinese pole solo that uses the audience as ballasts for the pole; relying on their support to perform beautiful tricks in the air.

It’s been amazing to watch this show develop from concept and we can’t wait to see where it goes next! Watch this space! 👀

✨ Freshly Baked Artist Announcement #4 ✨

We're thrilled to introduce our final commissioned artists through Freshly Baked: .drop.me.

In partnership with , Freshly Baked commissions new and redeveloped circus shows that are flexible in their set-up and can tour outdoors and to community spaces.

Ruby, LK and Jen are close friends and collaborators, which feeds into their shared physical language and sense of humour. They are acrobats, dancers, aerialists, clowns, riggers, lighting designers, access producers... there isn't very much in the circus sector these women can't do and haven't done!

Through Freshly Baked, they are redeveloping Don't Drop Me; a family-friendly, high-stakes circus theatre show, where 3 women tie themselves in knots navigating their relationships, challenging their self doubts and testing their limits on and off the trapeze.

We're excited to support the development of this work and can't wait to share more of their journey over the coming months.

We're thrilled to introduce another artist commissioned through Freshly Baked:

In partnership with , Freshly Baked commissions new and redeveloped circus shows that are flexible in their set-up and can tour outdoors and to community spaces.

Inviktus is a rollerskating collective founded in 2024 by director and Guinness World Record-holding circus artist Symoné ( / ). Made up of experienced skaters from the global street skate community, the group combines choreographed routines with freestyle skating, drawing on influences from rollerskate jams, club style dances, and circus.

Through Freshly Baked, they will be redeveloping their show, A Place Between Mass & Echoes, which is a love letter to the skate dance community.

We're excited to support the development of this work and can't wait to share more of their journey over the coming months.

We're thrilled to introduce another artist commissioned through Freshly Baked: .

In partnership with , Freshly Baked commissions new and redeveloped circus shows that are flexible in their set-up and can tour outdoors and to community spaces.

Phoebe is an experienced performer, touring nationally and internationally to outdoor festivals, big tops and traditional theatre spaces.

Through Freshly Baked, she is developing a new solo Chinese Pole show: Edges; a thrilling and collaborative outdoor performance that uses the audience as ballast for the pole. Working together, audiences become an essential part of the show, providing the physical support Phoebe relies on to perform incredible and beautiful tricks 5 metres in the air.

We're excited to support the development of this new work and can't wait to share more of her journey over the coming months.

Danielle and Kat are an experienced acrobatic duo who have worked collaboratively to create wheelchair-based acrobatic tricks.

🤗 We are beyond excited to have received a 4 Nations International Fund to work with the amazing and .amanda

We’ll be researching how we can take conversations of feminism in circus off the round table and into practice! If you are interested in the topic, we’ll be attending international circus spaces to research, learn and share. 👀 watch this space.
