SO WHO GETS THE WINTER HEATING ALLOWANCE?
Those of you that have received the letter from DWP regarding who will receive the allowance just might be a bit miffed to notice that ALL recipients are able bodied people.

Employment Support Allowance
Pension Credit
Jobseekers Allowance
Universal Credit
Income Support
Working Tax Credit
Child Tax Credit

There is no Winter Fuel Payment for people on

Disability Living Allowance
Mobility Allowance
Attendance Allowance
Personal Independence Payment
Severe Disability Allowance
Disability Benefit

So these people, who probably need the payment most get naff all.

I am looking to hire a TEAC A3340S 4 TRACK REEL TO REEL TAPE RECORDER, or similar, to extract some music on Nab Reels which I recorded in the 1970s.
If anyone can help, or knows where I can hire one for a couple of days please reply to this post with details.

Today I had my first of 10 sessions of Chemotherapy, 1 session every 3 weeks over 30 weeks. Acting upon my Oncologists advice relating to the reduction of my Immune System and the extreme chance of catching infections by attending venues such as pubs, restaurants, clubs and other similar venues, and after a long talk with Wendy, I have decided to step back and retire from the music life with immediate effect. I have cancelled all of my bookings from today onwards.

After my last Chemo’ in April, and when my immune system has recovered, I would like to perform one last ‘Goodbye’ show to say thank you to all the wonderful people who have supported me over years, and the Agents who believed in me. I will make the show a fundraising show to raise money for the charity I hold most dear…… The Cystic Fibrosis Trust. I will obviously notify on Facebook regarding venue & date nearer the time & depending on my health.
