Hey, how's things? As part of our quest to reach the entire world with our hollering, we've set up a Youtube channel. Ooh 'ark at 'ee! Fancy! Anyway we'd really, really appreciate it if you could head over there, subscribe, and then click like on all the videos. If you don't, then I'm afraid we'll have to send our hardened team of attack otters round to sort you out, and nobody wants that.

We are the legendary Towpath Singers of the Kennet and Avon Canal. Traditional & original folk songs are our thing.

Great first day at the Kennet & Avon Floating Fayre ! The sun even shone for us, but hey, we were still singing songs in the drizzle at 1am, because that's how we are. Day two today, get down here for all the fun of the fayre.

Here we are at the wonderful Purbeck Valley Folk Festival on the Duck Stage, with the forceful Jasame Gull leading us on "Arise" written and composed by our sorely missed, much loved friend and shantyman Adrian Shaw. Such power in his words.

Oh, here's our Kris down Purbeck Valley Folk Festival leading us in "Monkey In The Hold" written and composed by Adrian Shaw, our much missed shantyman. Kris says, "I was faintly aware that Adey was a poet, but I don't think I'd ever knowingly heard anything by him until he sang this for the first time at our session, having just composed it. It was so obviously his own work, and so strikingly brilliant. He seemed to suddenly come into his own as a songwriter, knowing I guess what a willing and enthusiastic reception we'd all give him. Once the paddles were drawn, new songs seemed to pour forth in a torrent, and we were all raised up with him".
