Warfield Fete

WOW! What a weekend, A BIG THANK YOU to all of you!! Thank you for coming along to this year’s fete and joining in the fun!

We might need a few posts so bear with us but this one goes out to our dedicated VOLUNTEERS as the fete quite literally cannot happen without them, especially car parking crew, it’s the least popular job but the most crucial 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Please get in contact if you’re up for being part of the volunteer team in future years!!

We also must thank all of our suppliers, stall holders, sponsors and prize donators! A full list to follow.

Figures are still being updated but the charity contributions from this year are looking good and YOU ALL DID THAT!!

If you were the lucky winner of the photography session on the raffle, please get in touch as we need the registration card filled in to send back to the company to validate the voucher.

We also had some lost property, see photo… ladies sunglasses, child’s sunglasses, a festival hat and a Tommy Tippee water bottle… please get in touch to claim them.

And breathe! I’m sure there’s something I’ve forgotten!

3 days until Warfield Village Fete and we are excited for the ANNUAL TUG-OF-WAR competition between Warfield Primary and Whitegrove schools!
Come along and cheer for your team!!

Weather is looking good 🤞🏼🌞 and we are looking forward to seeing all of our wonderful community, enjoying an ice cream, listening to the band, maybe a go on the rides and maybe getting lucky with the raffle!

📘📕📙📗Due to overwhelming support we are now closed to donations and thank all our kind donators for their very generous contributions.📘📙📕📘
There are some beautiful books across many categories including fiction, non-fiction, children’s, cookery, autobiographies, hobbies, reference and more so do come along and buy some books on fete day and support local causes.

‘It takes a village…’

Did you know…? It takes over 50 volunteers to run the village fete on fete day?

From token collectors to parking attendants to bouncy castle monitors! You name it, there are jobs to be done.
We also need set-up and take-down crews.

We are looking for four volunteers to help us run the barbecue at the Warfield Village Fete this year - it’s a key food stall for us and contribute heavily to our charitable donations so please get in touch!

If you also have a level 2 hygiene and catering certificate (only one volunteer would need to have it) then that would be an advantage!
