Happy Sweet 16 Artemis Studios! 🎂🥳
We began in Charles Square in 2007, taking over the old Learn Direct building (the space now above Costa and a Makro!) and making it into a hub of dance, drama and music studios. 🕺
We became a non-profit in 2014 when we moved out as the regeneration started. 📦🚚
In 2018, we opened Artemis College at South Hill Park, and now between the Studios evening, weekend and holiday classes, and the College, we have fun learning with more than 400 families a week in Bracknell! 🎓
😷 In 2020 during the pandemic, we went online and offered free classes to anyone who wanted them - some of our videos have been used by dance, drama and music teachers in 28 countries and seen 1000's of times! We also halved our fees once classes were allowed to come back to help parents who had lost work in lockdown (and prices stay at those rates, even now with costs going through the roof!).
in 2023 last week, we became a full charity, recognised by the Charities Commission which will take us to the next and exciting phase of Artemis! 🤩
