🎬 Our third season of classic films highlights the exciting film career of Victoria Wood - writer, director and star in a wide variety of fascinating films showcasing her amazing talent. Each screening will be introduced, and you’re invited to join us at 7pm before the film for a glass of w**e, with cheese and biscuits.

🎥 Victoria Wood stars in this award-winning drama set in the late 1930s. Written by Victoria and based on the mass observation diaries of Nella Last, a 49-year-old housewife living in Barrow-in-Furness.

💫 Exciting news for all those who loved FOURTEEN AGAIN at the Victoria Wood Theatre… it’s going to London!
After delighting audiences with a sell-out run in Bowness, our much-loved production will reunite Ria Jones and Sally Ann Triplett, reprising their roles of Lou and Peggy; opening on 2 December until 27 February 2027 at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Created from songs by Victoria Wood, and book by Tom MacRae, this funny, moving and joyful musical asks a rather big question: “If you could do it all again… would you?”

Well we know we would!
