Break a leg Teddy!

Good luck to Teddy as he performs in the first preview of The Misanthrope at the National Theatre tonight! 🎭

But first, Teddy has to put in his school hours and work with his tutor. Life as a child actor can be tough, balancing long work hours with education, often being marked absent despite keeping up with school, staying positive through the ups and downs, and having to cancel plans at the last minute when a self-tape or audition comes in.

For every role Teddy has secured, there have been hundreds of near misses and “almosts.” While we’re incredibly proud of his CV and achievements, we’re even prouder of the perseverance, resilience, and determination he has shown along the way.

Enjoy every second on that National Theatre stage tonight, Teddy. You’ve earned it, and we’re so proud of you! 🎭✨

Congratulations to our Inters Plus and Senior performers, who sang so beautifully at the Iford Church Summer Fete today! ❤️🖤

It was wonderful to hear you perform songs from Legally Blonde, Wicked, Newsies, and our much-loved Sister Act. Everyone looked so happy and confident on stage, and I couldn’t have been prouder.

This was another fantastic performance opportunity that we are delighted to offer at Pure Drama, helping our students gain confidence and experience in front of an audience.

A huge thank you to Olwen for inviting us to sing. We had a brilliant time, and although the raffle prizes escaped me this year, I’m hoping for better luck next time!

We had a brilliant time with George on his work experience!

During the day, George took on a huge amount of show preparation, including chaperone timetabling, prop sourcing and ordering. George also designed and created all of our videos and projections for the Summer Showcase. In addition to this, George spent time reading Spotlight breakdowns and selecting our agency actors for jobs.

In the afternoons, George assisted with our acting, musical theatre, LAMDA, and TV & Film sessions.

We so enjoyed having you with us, George! Thank you for all your hard work! ❤️🖤
