🦁Foster Families of Portsmouth🦁

✏️It’s been an honour to get to draw all these incredible foster carers! To to see it out in the wild in Portsmouth and meet some of these extraordinary people was just so special! (I did have a little cry after). Their stories are so important.

As a teacher, I saw the positive impact foster families can have for young people that are going through difficult times. To be part of this project means so much to me 💕💕

I hope that the carers feel celebrated, and that people see the lion and read their stories and maybe some more people consider becoming foster carers!

👑 Ringwood Story Trail is out now! 👑

I’m so excited to share this project! The Mystery of the King’s Lost Coin, an activity booklet about the history of my little hometown, Ringwood. It’s market has been running for 800 years!

Physical copies available from the Gateway Building and Library. Digital copy is in my bio 🤗

This is my first time authoring and illustrating together, which has been a wonderful and complex experience 😅

I’ll be sharing more about my process of research, writing and designing over the next few weeks 🥳 but just wanted to put it out there that I’m super proud to get to work on projects that are all about uplifting and celebrating people and places 🥰

How dreamy is this wedding set up!! Festival themed weddings are the PERFECT setting for live portrait drawings 🎊✏️

I’ve been updating my website recently and have been thinking about how I don’t really post on here about my work outside of portrait drawing. I’ve been lucky enough to work as a freelance illustrator and educator for about 6 years now and have had the pleasure of working on some cracking jobs! I looooved creating these super happy stickers for Burgate School.

My favourite jobs are when I can combine teaching and facilitating with joyful and colourful images- so this one was a dream! I’ve been lucky enough to work with several schools and colleges, and every time these art departments are full of the most generous, creative and inspiring staff. Burgate School is an amazing example of the great things that happen when schools prioritise art.

In the words of bobandrobertasmith “All schools should should be art schools”
