🍆🏹 IT’S OFFICIALLY THROBBIN’! 🏹🍆

Yesterday was our first THROBBIN’ HOOD read-through… and what a great day of big laughs, enormous personalities and some VERY impressive performances. 😏

The cast finally got their hands on the script…

They stroked it.
They played with it.
And by the end of the night, they’d well and truly got to grips with it. 👀😂

There were bulging parts, plenty of stiff competition and more double entendres than you could shake your mighty weapon at! 🏹🍆

And that was only the READ-THROUGH. 😳

Just wait until we all get together and start rehearsing properly… things could get very hot, very sweaty and completely out of hand. 😈🔥

🌲🍆 THROBBIN’ HOOD 🍆🌲

He robs from the rich…
He gives to the poor…
And apparently, he’s got a VERY impressive quiver. 😏🏹

COMING SOON… and hopefully not too soon. 👀😂

OH YES HE IS! 🍆

⭐️✨ AND THAT’S A WRAP ON CATCH A FALLING STAR! ✨⭐️

What. A. Show. ❤️

After all the rehearsals, the laughter, the hard work, the nerves, the costumes, the music, the dancing and probably a few tears along the way… Catch a Falling Star has officially taken its final bow. 🌟🎭

To see this brand-new original musical, written by Martin Mansfield, with original music created by the incredibly talented Rachel Boucher, come to life on the stage at Forest Arts Centre, New Milton has been something very special.

From the very first rehearsal to that final curtain, our amazing cast and crew have poured so much into this show — and we couldn't be prouder of what we created together. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone behind the scenes who made it happen — our production and creative team, backstage crew, tech team, musicians, choreographers, photographers, front of house and every single person who gave their time, talent and support. ⭐️

To our incredible cast — you told this story with so much heart, energy and passion. You made us laugh, you made us emotional and you absolutely brought the house down. We are SO proud of every one of you! 👏🌟

And finally, to YOU — our audiences. ❤️

Thank you for buying a ticket, filling those seats, laughing with us, crying with us, cheering us on and supporting us. Hearing your reactions made every second of the hard work worthwhile.

A new musical started as an idea… and this weekend, together, we made it real. ⭐️

The curtain may have come down on Catch a Falling Star, but the memories, friendships and music will stay with us for a very long time.

From everyone at Encore! Theatre Productions…
THANK YOU. ❤️
