Great morning at The Bridge today. Huge thank you to Treehouse Theatre for bringing their latest show "The Elves and the Shoemaker" to entertain us. Even a downpour couldn't spoil a fantastic performance. Great to see everybody singing and dancing to Cotton Eyed Joe in their ponchos at the end.

Great morning of ‘Elves & Shoemakers’ workshopping with the lovely Treehouse Theatre.

Made up a dance routine, created our own improvised scenes and recorded lines for the full production that Treehouse will be taking on the road in a couple weeks!!

Everyone had a brilliantly creative time!! 😊

Had a great time on our first day back at Double Act.

We talked about new skills we had acquired over the last year or so. We moved our bodies. We made plans, we sang our song and we played an acting game that involved saying the line “I wasn’t expecting that to happen” in as many different ways as possible! Happy times........ 😊

Hello! Darren here 😃

I’d like to introduce you to my latest entertainment venture. From May 17th 2021, may I present ‘Dazzarama Disco’. Perfect for birthday parties, anniversaries or any small to medium celebration where you need some lovely energetic music and fun. Geared towards adults with special needs.

With a vast repertoire of classic songs, from artists like Abba, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Marrs and The Weekend. I’ll keep you dancing and also lead your group in some fun moves, if that’s what you’re after. I could teach you ‘The Macarena’, we could all do ‘The Twist’, or simply follow what ‘Simon Says’. I will strum along with my guitar or beat along with my drum to add to the show. Happy to discuss personalised playlists before your event to make sure the music suits YOUR taste!

I’m experienced with diverse groups through my extensive work with Access Dorset, Double Act Disability Theatre, Tricuro and others. My equipment set up is minimal and neat, so no huge music systems or leads everywhere. DBS checked and sure to keep the party bubbling, please e-mail me with the details of your event and I will be happy to give you a competitive and bespoke quote……

PS. I am local to Bournemouth, so party requests significantly outside the area will incur appropriate charges for both travelling time and petrol.....
