FERNDOWN LEISURE CENTRE - EVERY SUNDAY

We welcome everyone to our roller discos - families, pre-booked groups, parties and individual skaters.

3.00-4.30pm – Suitable for all ages and abilities, ideal for new skaters and families who prefer a slower pace. Our skate guards are on hand to offer advice and support throughout the session. This disco is great fun for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re

a novice skater or returning to skating after a break, come along with the family or on your own to join in the fun. There will be great music and lighting, why not ask the DJ for your favourite song, also lots of games suitable for all.

5.00-6.30pm – All ages and abilities are welcome. This is a faster paced session and more suited to people with some skating ability, no ‘walkers’ on the rink during this session. Each week we play some roller games like bulldog (mad dash from one end of the rink to the other without being tagged by a skate guard) and some speed skating. If any of you have any other games you think would work on skates in either session we would be very happy to hear from you. Come along and have a laugh, great atmosphere and a good place to meet new friends. Also a very different type of party venue if you fancy coming along to celebrate your birthday or any other reason you have to celebrate.

Will be our last roller disco before our summer break 🌝

We are open tomorrow and 21st for our usual sessions.

3-4.30 family session, any age or ability.

5-6.30 adult/13+ any ability, younger skaters welcome provided they can skate fast and be able to stop. ( if unsure please come and ask us before paying for entry) NO WALKERS in this session.

£6 per skater 🛼
£1.50 skate hire
£1 safety equipment hire ( payable in cash only down in the sports hall at skate hire)

Games, dance along songs 💃🏼 disco lights, smoke machine 💨

We will only be running the 3-4.30 session this week as the leisure centre are closing early as they do every year, due to it being Easter Sunday. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We will be returning to our usual sessions on Sunday 12th April ☺️
