Want to make the switch to PC but don't want to learn full keyboard controls or use a controller ?
A little background about me, I was a console gamer since I was around 7 years old until the age of 31. During lockdown 2020 i made the jump over to PC due to wanting to be able to stream, now don't get me wrong consoles can offer streaming but have limmited capabilities.
I did spend about a month learning Keyboad and Mouse just so I had it in my armory if I ever needed it. But if this dose not intrest you and all the keys put you off i may have the perfect solution for you.
Now you will have to learn some of the keys and use the keyboard for mobility but I highly suggest the Logitech G G502 Hero mouse.
The G502 is a high quality mouse with customizable RGB lighting, an advanced optical sensor for accriate tracking, DPI range from 100 to 16,000 and repositional weights as everyone has their own preference if they like a heavy mouse or light weight one, on the mouse there is 11 fully programmable buttons.
Now the buttons are where you will be able to avoid learning full keyboard controls, from my personal experience using a controller for sooooo many years using these buttons makes my hands feels so much more at home, having the buttons all in one had is as close to the controller as you can get with out using one.
For FPS games I have my scroll wheel as change weapon, flick the scroll wheel left to reload and right to use a object, the two buttons next to the right click are set as leathal and tacital, the two buttons on the side where your thumb sits are crouch and prone finally the last button on the side is the sniper button while held its cuts my dpi sensitivity in half for a more persission aim.
With the use of the Ghub softwear you can make multiple profiles for different games so your mouse set up will not have to be the same for each game, eg. what works for call of duty will not work for world of warcraft ect.
Now what you set these to are totally up to you and what you feel comfortable with but the Logitech G502 Hero will help your switch to PC easier.
There are a few variations of the mouse there is the standard one ( that I own ), a SE edition the same as standard but white and black colour scheme, and finally the lightspeed version giving you possibly the best wireless mouse experience out currently with such low input lag you wouldn't notice a difference between this and a wired version.
Prices ?
The standard G502 hero retails for around £50 although prices do fluctuate.
The SE Edition retails for around £60 again with deals to be found online.
The Lightspeed version retails for around £100.
Now in Second hand market the standard G502 can be found for as cheap as £20.
All in all no matter what you budget is you will be able to find one of these mouses to suit.
