Don’t forget, the new term starts on Saturday 7th September. All children welcome from the age of 4 upwards. With so many musical theatre options for parents to choose from today, the choice is pretty overwhelming. At HCTG, I have always strived to make the lessons fun as this is so important. It has long been acknowledged that drama, or performing, is hugely beneficial to a child’s development. The difference with my Group over some others is that all our scripts are originals which has allowed the children to express themselves in their own way. Through drama they gain in confidence and learn so much from their experiences on the stage. These experiences can only better equip them for whatever they may choose to do later in life, both at work and socially. Sadly, this is going to be the last term but any newcomers are welcome to join us for our biggest Pantomime yet.

Hoping everyone at the Hurst Children’s Theatre Group (Bourne) has a great Summer now that school has finally finished for the term. Although we at HCTG finished a couple of weeks ago, my thoughts are already turning to the Winter term and what will be my last Pantomime. The past 12 years have been so much fun working with so many wonderful children, past and present. We are going to make this last Pantomime the biggest yet. If you would like to be part of this final performance, held at the South Holland Centre (appearing on a proper stage, lighting, costumes...) please contact me and be ready to join us when the new term starts on Saturday 7th September. All children welcome from age 4 upwards - and we have some 18 year olds in our midst so are doubly blessed. Through drama, young people gain so much in self-confidence and self-esteem and within our merry group, great friendships flourish. Have a great Summer everyone and don’t forget to make a note in your diary for the new term. Panto dates 16-18th January 2020
