Botley Village Annual Scarecrow Competition A new yearly event in Botley Village. raising money for local charities. First weekend in July each year.

Attention !!!
There will be no scarecrow competition this year .!!

The comp originally started in covid 2020 and was well attended due to lack of other events and limited travelling so less people were going away. It gave us all something to do and a laugh in a time that was a bit miserable! As well as raising funds for charity.
Over the last 3 years, the uptake has gradually got less and less and unfortunately, therefore, less money was raised too.
Due to personal commitments and time I will not be organising the event this year .
If anyone is interested in taking over the organisation then do let me know with a message to the page .

Hello!!
Here is the scarecrow list , unfortunately only a few entries this year , so it was easier to do a list rather than a map , they are quite close together (apart from the last one )
If you’d like to leave a small donation towards the fundraising for Abby's Heroes , then some of the locations will have a collection box. It would be great to boost the overall total as entries are lower than usual. please share this list with friends and neighbours. Judging and voting will be be on here via “liking” your favourites photo .
