A reminder that our Box Clever administrative offices will officially be closed for a summer break from Monday 3 August - Sunday 16 August.

🎭 Aged 14–19? What are you doing next week?

If you love performing, want to try something new or simply fancy spending a week making theatre with professional actors, this could be a brilliant way to start your summer.

Box Clever Summer Youth Theatre starts next week!

Over six days, you'll work with professional actors to create and perform an original piece of theatre, with workshops covering:

🎭 Acting & script work
⚔️ Stage combat
🎤 Voice
💃 Movement
🎬 Plus a final performance for friends and family

The performance will also be filmed, with everyone taking part receiving a recording to keep.

And importantly, you DO NOT need to be a member of Blackfriars Theatre Academy to take part. This opportunity is open to any young person aged 14–19.

📅 Monday 27th July – Saturday 1st August
📍 Sam Newsom Centre, Boston
🎟️ £25 for the entire week

Early this year, we reflected with students at The Hate Play Symposium.

They shared their workshop insights, discussed real issues like bullying and intolerance, and worked together to create a manifesto for change.

We’re grateful to have been part of their thinking.
