Exciting news!! I’m extremely proud and excited to be a new artist member of the East Anglia Art Fund!!

Please go and check out my artwork featured on both the East Anglia Art Fund Facebook and Instagram this week and permanently featured on their website.

Daily posts of my work are being made across the course of the next week alongside insights into the work I create and why I want to spend my life creating art.

EAAF member Fern Horton has just completed a BA (Hons) undergraduate Fine Art course at the University of Lincoln and is soon to arrive in Norwich for an MA at NUA. Her work has developed from more traditional practices such as painting and drawing into predominantly installation work using a range of mediums. Recent works have been created using an exploration of materials such as paper, fabric and paint as well as digital art forms for example video, projection and audio. We asked Fern is describe her work - 'My artwork is a physical embodiment of all my thoughts, anxieties and emotions.'

I am super excited to announce that on the 15th November I will be exhibiting my newest series of three artworks, INFORMATION FOR THE PATIENT, 2020 as a part of the second Stay Connected virtual exhibition.

Stay Connected is a virtual exhibition curated by Lois Harkin in order to help artists continue to show their work within a gallery setting, even with the closure of physical gallery spaces due to the pandemic.

This exhibition was extremely successful first time around and the second Stay Connected exhibition is even bigger featuring 50 artworks from 23 artists worldwide!

The exhibition launches 15th November and runs fir one month until December 15th. I myself am extremely excited to see the finished exhibition and I encourage anyone who is interested to head over to https://loisemmaharkin.wixsite.com/store to learn more about the curator and the Stay Connected virtual exhibition.

You can also find information about myself and my art practice at www.fernsarthub.com or on instagram .
