This coming Sunday will be the annual 240 mile round trip to Rothwell in Northants for the annual Rowell Fair Society model show held at Tresham Hall above the Conservative Club on Market Hill. The "Kaleidoscope" Mirror Maze will be heading my display this year.

Looking further ahead following a successful couple of days down the Brighton coastline, an ever bigger event is planned for November. This takes place the following weekend after Loughborough which means this should be my last show for 2026 as I don't show anywhere in December.

Last year I returned to Scotland after a few years lapse attending Kirkcaldy Funfair Model Show. This year the plan is to return to Wales for the new model show at Neath Great Fair. What I'll bring with me I'll decide nearer the time a long way off for now.

Just last weekend I supported a brand new show held at Whitehawk Valley Community Centre near Brighton featuring the old school duo - Kaleidoscope & Miami. It was a welcome return to the city well-known to modellers for the Modelworld event which sadly ended in 2016. A modeller who has done various shows over the years Dan Whiting, decided to jump in the deep end to put together a show of his own for the first time. What a great job he did too everyone enjoyed the weekend here, considering the short notice he provided everyone and the fact the venue is not fully reopened yet to the public after being closed for years. There will be a second much larger show taking place in November.

One of my most established events is the Stamford Mid-Lent Fair Model Show held on the final Saturday of the fair. For this year Xentox was put on display and Mysteria accompanied it this time around. Xentox now is taking a well earned break until later in the season.

The sole show in February was the annual Modellers Exhibition at The Grange Community and Leisure Centre. First of a few local events that'll I support. Following the Miami appearing last year Xentox & Kaleidoscope had their first outings of 2026.

Sending good wishes to Niall, Rob & Graham with the Kirkcaldy Funfair Model Show tomorrow which is being held at a new venue Phelp Hall located at the Southern end of the fair near The Basin.

While the Links Market is in town, there’s a celebration of miniature fairgrounds taking place in Kirkcaldy this weekend.

This weekend I shall be supporting a brand new model show organised by Dan Whiting aka The Lego Technic Man. The Miami & Mirror Maze will be on display, this means all four larger models have been shown twice this year.

Annual pilgrimage to Stamford Mid-Lent Fair on Saturday for the model show. Making a first apperance here will be Xentox, enhancing the shows reputation for attracting tall model rides.
