I have been using thermal stickers for the back of my cards and have to admit, I wasn't very happy with them. So I went through my cutting-die stash, found a tag that thought it could work, and tried to fit the info I wanted in there. I used thick ivory paper for the printing (the printer was not very happy about the thickness, but made it in the end) cut them all manually and here is the new tag! Not as fast as the thermal printing, but more appropriate in my opinion for a handmade card! The plan is to make them for all 3 platforms I use, and when a card sells, stick the correct tag on and off it goes! What do you think?

🦚This is the 1st of a fantasy card collection I've been working on, with a majestic peacock surrounded by candles and flowers. The sentiment tag on the front reads "Wishing You A Bright & Beautiful Birthday". With green mirror card for the border & decorative corners & green mat quality paper for the background. It is decorated with dimensional colour embellishments and finished with a coordinating double insert with the wish "Happy Birthday".

Here are a few cards I made while working on the blanket, these are going to be given to the 3rd place winners of an upcoming dog show. All three are 5"x7", with coloured card as a border and patterned papers for the background. I used bronze mirror card for the frames and the rosette, and finished them with dimensional colour embellishments, craft pearls & craft gems. Pictures of 2nd and 1st place to follow soon! 🐢🐾

πŸ‚"Pumpkin Spice Cal - Week 3"πŸ‚
What a week that was! We made toadstoolsπŸ„, leaves πŸπŸ‚, acorns and a lovely pumpkin πŸŽƒfor the central panel! It took me just under 4 hours to make 273 French knots on the mushrooms for the spots and the pumpkin is also sewn in the centre. It was totally worth all the extra effort, as I managed to hide all the workings and have the back of the blanket nice and neat! The leaves are just waiting for now, they will be attached on the blanket a bit later. Officially half way now, with week 4 starting in a few mutes!

Here is my progress on the blanket, the 2nd week was easy flowing with a LOT of counting, and only took ne 2 days to finish! That left me with some time to catch up with my dog card order, and I am now ready for week 3 to start today! What do you think of the blanket so far?

Hi everyone, I finished the 1st part of the blanket yesterday, so up to date so far with the CAL. I'm not a fan of the granny stitch but enjoyed all the different colours, and weaved in my ends straight away so felt like they were quickly finished. I had to block it as it was a bit wonky, but happy so far with how it comes along and looking forward to the 2nd part, which is released tomorrow! Anyone else taking part?
