We had a magically wonderful night at Write Out Loud last Sunday.
Beautiful, inspiring poetry from our guest performer Ged Thompson, talented readers, and a supportive audience made this evening really special. Huge thank you to everyone who came! Next Write Out Loud will be on 7th June.

The next Write Out Loud Spoken Word Open Mic at Bolton Socialist Club will be on Sunday 10 May, featuring guest performer Ged Thompson. Ged Thompson is a Liverpool-based poet, author and storyteller whose work centres on love, hope and magic. His writing spans fairytales, poetry and prose. His upcoming collection, Somewhere Between Heaven & Heartbreak, is a poetic meditation on love, lust and loss. A seasoned international performer and facilitator, Ged brings warmth, vulnerability and flashes of humour to his work on and off the page.

Doors open at 7 pm. All welcome.

Spoken word lovers can hear the Poetry Twins – Rachel Davies and Hilary Robinson – share their moving poems about love, loss, and caring for loved ones with dementia at Bolton Socialist Club, with proceeds supporting dementia charities

Join us for a spoken word open mic on 12th April. Our guest performers will be 'the poetry twins' – Rachel Davies and Hilary Robinson. They are both accomplished poets and their poetry is widely published in journals, anthologies and online. They will be reading from their joint collection of poems 'An Altogether Different Place' which explores their experience of living and caring for loved ones with dementia.
