Megan plays Rona ‘Lisa’ Poretti in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!

Former spelling bee champion turned host, and she treats the whole thing like a very important life event. She’s calm, encouraging and endlessly supportive, but just a bit too invested in the ceremony of it all. Every word matters, every child matters, and every elimination hurts her personally.

Lovely, reassuring, slightly intense, and still quietly proud she peaked academically at twelve.
