Our first spotlight on October’s Harwood Artisan Market is from Makants Greyhound Rescue Stall 🐾

All profits will go directly to the charity, supporting the rehoming/rehabilitation of ex racing greyhounds.

The stall itself has a lovely mix of dog related items, coats, handmade jumpers, treats and toys. And for the humans, we'll have some blind dates with a books, wax melt bundles (all handmade by our volunteers) and some beautiful crafts. Something for everyone!

3 weeks until the next Harwood Artisan Markets on Saturday 3rd October!

We have over 50 stalls booked, selling a wide variety of products and produce, many lovingly made by hand and with love!

We also have a wonderful Artisan Cafe selling hot and cold drinks and food, and always a warm welcome to everyone from the Orange Apron Gang (OAG) and stall holders alike! 🧡🙏🏼

Harwood Methodist Church Crocheting and Knitting group are on a mission to do a large remembrance display project for the centre of Bradwood and we need your help.

If anyone can knit or crochet some red or purple poppies we would really appreciate it. We will need them completed by mid October.

If you can help I can collect or arrange for them to be dropped at church and we will gather them and then let everyone see the finished article. Which hopefully we can preserve and use again in the future?

Huge thanks to everyone who came to the first Autumnal Artisan Market!

We raised an incredible £1689 for HMC and Turton Rotary Club, plus they also did a collection, along with an author raising money and awareness for MRCH. I think we also raised morale and community spirit during the market and the OAG certainly had a fab time too!

Good morning from Harwood Artisan Markets!

We are open and ready with 52 stalls, lots of exciting products and produce, delicious food and drinks and we even have some amazing ⛄️ ⛄️ yes I did say snowmen with us from Turton Rotary Club collecting for the 🎅🏼 Sleigh 🛷 Appeal along with the author of Small boat in a big ocean signing books!

Don’t forget, Saturday 5th September is Harwood Artisan Market!

The first of the Autumn markets with 52 stalls selling a wide variety of products and produce.

Along with the Artisan Cafe selling delicious breakfasts, lunches, cakes and drinks.

Cone along and support your local businesses, community and catch up with friends and family all under one roof!

The first of our Autumn Artisan Markets starts Saturday 5th September!

We have 52 stalls and are also welcoming Sam Price, local author of ‘Small boat in a big ocean’

book. This true story follows little Sorrelle’s heartbreaking yet inspiring journey after being diagnosed with leukaemia. 90% of all royalties are donated to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital oncology wards in perpetuity and 10% in trust for Sorrelle to support further medical needs in the years ahead. Books will be on sale.

We also will have the famous Artisan Cafe with its delicious food and drinks and warm welcome to one and all from the OAG and stall holders.

We are celebrating with a Friday night glow party 6pm - 7.30pm, Saturday 11th Family Fun day 11am - 2pm and Sunday a celebration service at 10am.
