🗣Here's what audiences are saying so far:
"An excellent performance from all the cast. Very very entertaining."
👏👏👏
"Well first time in an age, we have been back to the theatre, I must say a little apprehensive at first, but everyone there was wearing masks, the performance was absolutely brilliant and funny all the way through, if you've got a spare evening this week, we can recommend you'll have an excellent night, we'll done to all the cast and members of FLT, certainly back with a bang."
👏👏👏
"What a great first performance, I wasn’t sure this would work when it was first announced but it’s a triumph. Laugh out loud, great timing and wonderful larger than life engaging performances. I haven’t seen Phil Harrison act before but a wonderful performance as the central character and the rest of the cast light up the theatre in these trying times. Get out the house and treat yourself to a memorable theatrical event."
👏👏👏
"Well what a welcome back performance that was! After such a horrid year or two with Covid it was nice to have some light hearted tongue in cheek humour from the amazing cast and crew of One Man Two Guvnors!"
👏👏👏

About the play…
An intense real-life thriller centred around the most important weather forecast in the history of warfare.
June 1944. One man's decision is about to change the course of history.
Everything is in place for the biggest invasion ever known in Europe – D-Day. One last crucial question remains: will the weather be right on the day?
Problematically there are two opposing forecasts. American celebrity weatherman Colonel Krick predicts sunshine, while Scot Dr James Stagg, Chief Meteorological Officer for the Allied Forces, forecasts a storm. As the world watches and waits, General Eisenhower, Allied Supreme Commander, must decide which of these bitter antagonists to trust. The decision will not only seal the fates of thousands of men, but could win or lose the entire war.
An extraordinary and little-known true story, David Haig's play thrillingly explores the responsibilities of leadership, the challenges of prophecy and the personal toll of taking a stand.
Farnworth Little Theatre updated their address.
We are looking for Front of House volunteers at FLT for the run of the play PRESSURE. The play runs from 6th to 13th November (except Sunday 7th November) For further information please email Amber Sargent at: [email protected]
We are very sorry to announce that all performances of The Ghost Train have been cancelled. This is because of cast illness due to covid. We are so sorry to disappoint you. We are very disappointed too.
Our box office will be in touch regarding refunds as soon as possible. We thank you for being patient with our volunteers.

GLYN NEARY
Some of you may have heard of the sad news relating to the passing of Glyn Neary. Glyn was a regular volunteer at FLT and always had a friendly welcome to audiences whenever he worked behind the bar. Glyn was also active behind the scenes at FLT and regularly helped with set building and production preparation. Our thoughts are with Nicola and family. x

Good evening, members, patrons and friends. We wanted to provide you with an update on the theatre and our plans for the coming months.
Behind the scenes, a great deal of work is taking place every day to maintain the theatre. There are also a number of big projects underway to ensure that when we are ready to re-open we will be in the best possible position, with some improvements to our facilities.
Sadly, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the January production, which was due to be One Man Two Guvnors. This would have required rehearsals to start next month, with a large cast and live band, and at the current time we do not feel it would be safe for this to go ahead. We will keep you updated with any news regarding productions as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding tickets, please contact our Box Office who will be happy to help.
We hope you are all keeping well, and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back to the theatre as soon.
