Farnworth Little Theatre Amateur theatre in Farnworth, Bolton. Come and get involved!

Established in 1948, Farnworth Little Theatre is an amateur theatre group situated just outside Bolton. Our first full length play 'Night Must Fall', was presented in 1949, and since then we have offered a continuous programme of up to five full length productions a year. The theatre is run by volunteers and therefore offers many opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in a range of activities, from acting to wardrobe, lighting and sound to publicity and set-building. I had the privilege of watching Death of a Salesman last night, an outstanding cast who gave such memorable naturalistic performances, you’d think it had grown up together. It’s been a while since I last saw it and while I remembered the plot, the direction and acting brought out all the timeless brilliance of the script. One of those nights at the theatre you don’t want to end and bring you back to real life. Big thank you to the technical, back stage and volunteer crew.
