So the group have been back a good 6 weeks now after 2020 turning us upside down.

They are all currently prepping for their BSL Level 1 102 exam and I know each and everyone of them will smash it ❤️

Wow ! Received the most amazing message this morning 😊

A massive Well Done to Emma ! Emma joined my classes to learn her BSL level 1 to get on the Univeristy path of becoming a teacher of the deaf 😊 Well today Emma received the amazing news that she has been fully funded for a 2 year scholarship to become a Teacher of the Deaf ❤️ I am so happy for you and extremely proud you are taking on a job that is very much lacking in the education sector 🤟🏻

Today we did our first Zoom class 🤟🏻 everyone was feeling a little rusty because it’s been 7 weeks since our last class but we smashed it ! A quick run over 101 and 102.

Getting back on our receptive practice next week ❤️

This is Aleea-Mae. Aleea is my daughter and attends a Deaf school. Sign language is her 1st language, so Im prepping her for adult life by getting her qualifications while she is young and it’s all enjoyable. Aleea is a fluent signer but generally uses SSE (sign spoken English) at school. She is currently learning BSL now she is in year 6 and now gaining her level 1 signature qualification ❤️ proud mum 🤟🏻

Here’s Summer. Shes 9 and is doing her BSL level 1 signature qualification with me on a Wednesday. Summer is one of 2 young ones I have and I can honestly say she impresses me so much every week. This week they had to write a paragraph about 1 thing they did this week ❤️ Summer wrote about her whole week and had no problem signing it to a room of people 🤟🏻 her confidence is blooming every week !
