Trampolene's latest album Love No Less Than A Queen was released on Strap Originals records in September 2021 and entered the UK Official Independent Albums chart at no.5 and the Independent Breakers chart at no.1. Their debut album Swansea to Hornsey, released in 2017, entered the UK Indie chart at no.10 and was described by Q Magazine as a “brilliant debut album from indie gutter poets…****” and featured in The Independent’s ‘Top 10 albums of the Year’.

Without a doubt one of the most electrifying live performances you'll come across from the UK guitar-scene, Pet Needs are moving up the ladder at a blistering pace. With international tours and summer festivals a-plenty under their belts, the band recently took on board friend and folk-punk giant Frank Turner to mix and master their latest record - splitting everyone’s lockdown hangovers with screeching feedback, tangled wiry riffs, and sharp, cynic-baiting lyrics that are spat, chanted and hollered - nine months of phantom gigs pumped into 33 minutes.

What an amazing reception to our first announcement! Thank you to everyone who has been spreading the word about our BIG plans for Bolton next summer. We've been working hard on the lineup since last year, and we aren't done announcing yet, but here's a whistle-stop tour of our first wave of headliners...

A Certain Ratio 🔷 🟨 ⚪

A group that almost needs no introduction...ACR emerged from the hallowed grounds of the late 70s punk scene. Since then they’ve moved with gleeful disregard for the boundaries of style and genre, their eye fixed firmly on constant progression. It’s an ethos that’s open-minded over all else, and that’s seen them take everything from experimental electronica to vintage funk, filtered through their own Mancunian lens.

How does Right To Roam work? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

Right To Roam is a metropolitan festival taking place in Bolton on Friday 8th and 9th July. We've curated a lineup of some of the most exciting new bands from Bolton and beyond to take over the town centre for two days.

Using four of the best venues in town, we have over 70 acts ready to fill our stages. To get into all these venues you'll simply need one wristband to show to door staff upon entry which can be collected from our ticket exchange at Bar Four.

Where can I collect my wristband? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

Wristbands can be collected from Bar Four from 16:00 on Friday 8th July and 10:00 AM on Saturday 9th. Please bring proof of ID so that we can match your name to your ticket(s). Please email us in advance if you would like to collect a ticket on behalf of a friend ([email protected]).

How big are the venues? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

Our venues vary in size. Each establishment has strict capacities in accordance with health and safety rules and so we advise that you arrive at venues with plenty of time to spare to avoid any disappointment, as when venues are full, they are full.

Can I buy a ticket on the day? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

If the festival doesn't sell out in advance then a number of tickets may be available on the day of the festival at our wristband exchange. However, we would recommend strongly that you buy yours in advance to avoid missing out.

I haven't received my ticket yet - what gives? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

What time does the festival start and end? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

On Friday our first act is on at 16.30 at Northern Monkey and our last band finishes at 23:00. On Saturday our first act begins at 12:30 at The Octagon and our final act at 23:30 PM with a DJ set afterparty at Bar Four from 22:40 PM. Where can I find set times for artists? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

A full list of stage times is available through our official clashfinder and on our website. However, please note that set times may be subject to change on the day. Will do our best to keep you updated via social media. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more.

Can I leave the festival and come back? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

Right To Roam is spread out across Bolton and as such you are free to leave and re-enter the festival, provided you keep good care of your wristband. However, please note that venues may fill up in your absence and so return entry to a particular venue is not always guaranteed.

Can I bring a backpack/bag? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

Venues at Right To Roam Festival may have in place security checks such as bag searches during the festival, so please leave time to allow for this. We recommend that large rucksacks/backpacks are left at home and that bags if absolutely required are no larger than an A4.

Can I play at Right To Roam Festival? 🔷 🟨 ⚪

We are always on the lookout for great talent to join us at Right To Roam Festival. However, this year's lineup is now full. To declare interest in playing next year please email [email protected], or better yet pop down to the festival and say hello to one of the team.
