Hi All,
We'd like to say a big thank you to ALL who popped along to the Bollington Festival on Sunday afternoon to join us in the hot 'n' noisy beer tent for the Bollington Folk Club 'Singaround'. We only had an hr in the end as we lost half an hour to a sound check on the main stage. Our apologies to anyone who missed out on playing; it was such a rush, but it was a great hour nonetheless, so thanks again for joining us :)

Hi All,
Just a quick and huge thank you to all who came out to The Festival Folk Night last night!
We had a truly great evening!
A special thanks to 'Aston, Stirling and Renshaw' who were excellent as ever, and to 'Lee Bardsley and Friends' ( lee Lee Bardsley Music )who were fabulous, performimg two sets of very engaging and beautiful original songs.
Thanks to The Bollington Arts Centre, which is a fantastic venue with a wonderful acoustic, and Bollington Festival for this opportunity! :)

Hi All,
This is just a reminder that the club is definitely running tonight as usual.
I thought that I'd clarify this, as some of you thought that tomorrow's gig at The Bollington Arts Centre was a replacement for the club tonight. It's not; you have two marvelous musical experiences to enjoy.
We hope to see some of you later, tomorrow or for both! :)
I also attach the poster for tomorrow night, in case anybody has missed it.

Hi Again,
Just to let you know that we will be running a Bollington Folk Club singaround for a couple of hours in a small marquee tent on Bollington Recreation ground on Sunday 24th May at 4:45pm - 6:15pm. This is part of The Bollington Arts Festival. This event will follow the format of our conventional club night :) Details to follow.

Steve and I are running a couple of events over the Bollington Arts Festival week this year. The first of the events will be in The Bollington Arts Centre.
All of the details that you need are on the poster attached).
It would be great to see you there for a great evening and to support the club too.
The concert is on the Monday night, right after the next Bollington Folk Club night.

Hi All,
Steve and I would like to extend a very hearty thank you to Andy and Dave for standing in for us on Sunday night sand running the night, whilst we were away having a splendid time doing our thing at Upton Folk Festival. It is appreciated, so thank you! :)
It was our first opportunity to do a proper concert set; as part of the festival. It was a full on weekend!!

Other biz, if I may:
When we took the club on a while back it was agreed that if we weren't able to make it for whatever reason, someone would step up and run the evening in our absence. This doesn't happen very often but when it does it currently falls to Andy and Dave to do the honours. If anybody else would be happy to step up to help run an evening on such occasions, then that would be great. We will always endevour to give as much notice as possible. If you fancy helping us out with this, then please get in touch.

Hi there!! We hope that you had a very Happy Easter!

Our next evening of entertainment will be on the 19th April 2026. It is a Guest Night featuring Rik Roberts, so come on down if ya can!! See the poster for details :)

Steve and I will be there to kick things off at 7:30pm with a couple or three and Andy and Dave will kick off the second half similarly. We look forward to seeing some of you lovely peeps :)
