AT LAST THE BOOK IS ON ITS WAY – GET INVOLVED

We hope you are all enjoying this amazing summer & with September just around the corner, preparations are well under way for the Biggest Weekender in our history when we are proud to be hosting the 40th Anniversary of the Southport Weekender & we can tell you 2027 is going to be a huge year for us with lots of exciting things planned.

We are busy working away with our publishers in producing a wonderful 300 plus pages designer coffee table book & with so many stories to tell whether you are new to the Weekenders or have been coming for what really is a lifetime, we would love to hear from you.

We would love to hear about your standout Weekender experiences and stories, the characters you’ve met there and the friendships & in so many cases lifetime partners that have started on the dancefloor. The rituals & traditions that you have grown up with over the years and of course the musical moments & performances that you will never forget. Of course there are so many stories whether we can publish them or not. It all adds to the fun of what will be an action packed book full of artwork, music, photos & fun.

Whether you have been with us since the beginning or only just joined us the last couple of years, we would be thrilled to talk to you.

We are so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Kelly Spencer.

Both Kelly and Spen are a huge part of our history, we know how much Kelly loved Suncebeat and Southport, her infectious energy and drive will be missed both behind the scenes and on our dancefloors - and we are so proud of her strength, positivity, and determination to live life on her own terms.

We send love and condolences to Sean and the Spencer family and close friends during this difficult time - Queen Kelly your spirit will always live on at our parties and within our music scene. Fly high darling ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🕊️
