Hi Geoff here , years ago…..35 years maybe 🤔, Jane used to enter an “expo d’art“ in the beautiful Brittany seaside village of Locquirec . It was in the town hall overlooking the harbour . There were lots of “ Wanabee” artists all claiming to be the best 👩🏼🎨🖼️🏆🙈 it was a snobby affair ! Little old Jane the English artist 🧑🏻🎨 entered, she only sold more than all the other artists put together 3 years running 💪🏼🥇🏆
Roll-on 35 years, and I don’t want to put the other artists down ( as they may be followers 🤫) she has on more than one occasion SOLD more than all the other artists in the Cornwall Watercolour Society Rock exhibition 3 years running 👍.
Jane was asked to exhibit at Port Isaac Chapel Art Gallery in Port Isaac . About 6 artists in total exhibiting ……. You’ve guessed it , the statement of accounts came in today 🥇🏆💪🏼🥰 she’s only done it again !! SOLD more than all the other artists put together.
Of course I’m biased , and JaneDelaney Art would not write this , she is too humble, but she sold 5 originals in July and August , as well as prints . WELL DONE Jane from your best fan, and I’m sure all you followers out there . Never doubt yourself Jane , you work bloody hard and it shows.
The Gallery closes end of October, so she has the latest Port Isaac paintings to drop off very soon for the Autumn market . Why not pop down to the beautiful Port Isaac Gallery and cafe , have a cream tea and browse the artwork . Also call next door to the Port Isaac Pottery, mention Jane to the owner Barbara who lives there.
