My passion and love is painting.

I am self taught and have only been painting for 3 years. I am unable to use my dominant hand due to previous surgery so I have taught myself to write and paint with my left. Living with brain cancer, I feel blessed that I can contribute in a small way to a charity which seeks a cure for brain tumours..😊❤️x

I have painted this scene solely with a pallette knife. This has allowed me to layer the flowers several times to achieve an impasto effect.

The striking visual contrast between a sleek, dark vessel and the vibrant colours of the setting sun embodies the "sailing off into the sunset" ideal, blending nature's beauty with ultimate wealth, exclusivity, and escapism.

I have painted this piece solely with a pallette knife. It gives me the freedom to layer and blend the paint with sweeping movements.

In direct sunshine the sunset is even more vivid and vibrant. The gloss varnish makes it stand out even more.

These meadow flowers with their bright sunshine yellow background, create a vibrant, warm, and often an optimistic artistic effect.

I used a pallette knife to texture the flowers.
