The Scottish Railway Preservation Society, a registered charity and operators of the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway, Museum of Scottish Railways and SRPS Railtours, has been forced to temporarily cease all operations due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. Coming after the early part of the year when our trains are not running and the Museum closed, our finances are already at their lowest level. We are therefore appealing for donations to subsidise the cost of the Society’s essential services at a time when, unexpectedly, we have no income.

With the advice from the UK Government and the Scottish Government concerning Covid-19 , we have decided in light of this situation youth group activities will be postponed ,

we hope that our young budding volunteers do not lose your enthusiasm and that we will be able to see you all again when this is calmed down , please keep safe and follow advice given , we will get through this !

What an excellent introduction day for SRPS youth group, new leaders have been introduced and huge plans for 2020.
Thanks to al large departments for taking time to talk to the youth group.
