That's a room full of people playing a game I made.

(And then a room full of people making games together in a wee game jam)

Massive thanks again to for having me at the MULTIPLATFORM symposium at Manchester Poetry Library a few weeks ago (and to John Greenwood for the photos). I'm still digesting much of it in conversation with some of the people I met online - it was a great opportunity to meet like-minded game poets and I had such a great time.

Looking forward to being able to put some of this learning into practice 👀

I've had a fantastic couple of days at Manchester Metropolitan Uni and Manchester Poetry Library the last couple of days getting to connect with a heap of like minded poets and gamers for the MULTIPLATFORM Poetry Games Symposium

I also shared my first external research paper, presenting my game poem 'DON'T GET UPSET' as an example of ADHD-Fuelled Poetry.

Thank you to Reuben Martens and Jen Cromwell for hosting. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of.

Cannot wait to follow up on all the threads that this symposium has left dangling...

Some exciting news - I am now officially booked as a speaker at my first external conference.

I'll be presenting my game poem 'Don't Get Upset' as an example of my research into the genre of 'ADHD-Fuelled Poetry' - poetry which doesn't necessarily talk about ADHD in its content, but rather aims to give its reader a sensory, mimetic or otherwise emulatory experience of *what it can feel like* to live with ADHD.

I'm absolutely shattered and the stills from the wide angle video I took do so little justice to this...

But Bardmaster - A Live Poetry Gameshow at was absolutely fantastic.

These poets brought so much energy and creativity to a mad experiment we at had an idea for about 2 years ago but sort of never got round to... I'm so glad we've had this opportunity to give it a trial run. And it was so much fun.

There'll be more footage to come but for now, .a.steele .stromsten - I doff my lab goggles to you (not to mention Helen's temporary mouthpiece Jo Henry ).

Thanks to and for the offer of the stage time and the for funding our materials.

We'll be back in summer to celebrate the reopening of the Key following their newly remodelled roof.

For now - I'm gonna go collapse face down in a pillow.
