Home is where the heart is and in the case of this Milton Keynes resident, no-one exemplifies that more than our parents.

Thanks so much for sharing your stories with us, we’re excited to bring A1 back to Bletchley this June.

Home might be a place, but it’s also the people… We’ve loved hearing your answers on this subject.

The more we learn about Bletchley, the more fascinated we become. The Blue Lagoon, for example, used to be a brick works clay pits. These were flooded in 1947 to create a beautiful the Nature Reserve which still exists today, home to badgers, bats, snakes (not the scary kind), newts, birds and butterflies.

Sounds like the perfect spot to hang out this summer!

What is life for if it’s not shared with the people we love? This conversation with a local Bletchley resident is something we can all relate to. Wishing her and her partner all the happiness!

Each story shared with A1 creates a layer of the artwork we’re making for Bletchley town centre. We can’t wait to see it take shape.

Here’s a glimpse into one of the special conversations a local resident shared with A1, our intelligent field recorder.

Each conversation is anonymous and between just A1 and the participant, but in this case the artist was invited to join and document a few!

Listen as we chat about planes and poems with this wonderful Bletchley resident!

Life can be a challenge, can’t it?

We wanted your sculpture to represent real life with all its ups and downs - so this question gets right to the heart of things!

Thanks to everyone who’s chatted with A1 and shared such honest answers so far 💞

We had such a fantastic time meeting everyone at last week. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

It was an honour to create in the same place where our inspiration, Alan Turing, once worked - a real full-circle moment for the team.

Every conversation you have with A1 is becomes a permanent part of our sculpture, and we can’t wait to watch it take shape.
