This aquarium is home to two Red Parrot Fish, a Red Tiger Oscar and a Lemon Oscar. Our client contacted us with concerns about fighting, particularly around the Lemon Oscar, who was showing signs of aggression.

To ensure the wellbeing of all the fish, we temporarily relocated them to AQUAtechniques HQ so we could closely observe their behaviour in a controlled environment. After monitoring them, we were pleased with how they settled and returned them to their home aquarium, this time alongside six Blue Tiger Parrot Fish🐟

The first image shows the tank while it was empty, and the final image shows it after the fish were returned. They may have hidden away for the photos, but once they’ve fully acclimatised again, this aquarium will be looking its best.

This is just one example of how professional aquarium care goes beyond cleaning, it’s about fish health, behaviour and long-term stability.

As we approach the festive season, we’d like to let our clients know that AQUAtechniques will be closed from Monday 23rd December and will reopen on Thursday 2nd January.

This aquarium is part of our regular maintenance programme and was recently refurbished by our team to complement the office’s brand-new renovations. A great example of how thoughtful design and ongoing care keep an aquarium looking its best all year round.
