🎭 Second Rehearsals for Bleadon Players’ The Vicar of Dibley! 🎭

Tonight we stepped inside Geraldine’s vicarage… and let’s just say, we’re not entirely convinced it meets health & safety standards (mainly due to excessive chocolate storage 🍫).

The cast are settling in nicely — cups of tea have been poured, biscuits have mysteriously vanished, and we’re fairly certain Geraldine has already located every snack within a 5-mile radius.

Rehearsals are really starting to come together now, with laughs getting bigger and characters getting bolder. If tonight is anything to go by, you’re in for a heavenly treat… though possibly with a slightly sinful amount of chocolate involved! 😇

We’ll be back in the vicarage soon for more laughs, more chaos, and probably fewer biscuits (though we’re not making any promises…) 🍪

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased in person from the Bleadon Post Office.

If you're unable to get to the Post Office, please send us a message and we will do our best to arrange an alternative way for you to purchase tickets.

🎭 FIRST REHEARSAL COMPLETE! 🎭

Last night, the cast of The Vicar of Dibley gathered for our very first rehearsal, and we're delighted to report that nobody accidentally became the Bishop, nobody fell through a church pew, and only a small amount of tea was spilled. ☕😇 But lots of chocolate was eaten.

Scripts were opened, characters began to emerge, and there were already plenty of laughs—most of them intentional! It's safe to say Geraldine, Alice, David, and the rest of the Dibley gang are in very good hands.

We're incredibly excited to bring this much-loved comedy to life and can't wait to share the chaos, charm, and questionable parish council decisions with you all.
