A big thank you to the amazing Northumberland Bat Group for running their Bat Walk in the Land of Oak & Iron! It was great finding out more about the amazing wildlife we don't always get to see.

We found out that the Derwent Valley is home to Noctule, Common Pipistrelle, Soprano Pipistrelle, Daubenton's bats and possibly even Natterer's Bats. We hope these beautiful animals continue to thrive here with us.

Next Sunday we'll have some more brilliant live music for our cafe customers in the Courtyard!

Simon, who some of you may also know from Shore & Tide, is bringing his ceilidh band Real to Reel in for an amazing traditional music perfomance. Expect Northumbrian pipes, fiddles, and toe-tapping tunes!

They'll be performing from 12pm-3pm outside (weather dependent).

The event is free for customers and there's no tickets required - simply roll up and enjoy!
